After World War II, Trying to Understand, and Be Understood by Asia

  • David Hall

摘要

This chapter reviews New Zealand’s perceptions of Asia from the start of the second half of the twentieth century and New Zealand’s dilemma on how relations with those countries, and the continent in general, should develop. Also, how New Zealand’s participation in organisations including Asian countries demonstrated the difficulties that prevented any major change in perceptions.
