Methods of Inquiry

In this chapter, inclusive, qualitative data collection procedures will be described. In Aotearoa New Zealand, an innovative agentic ethnography was implemented. In the USA, a novel technique was employed to create a composite narrative case study from a secondary analysis of the American Voices Project dataset. Ethical research recruitment procedures and data analyses will also be described as they occurred within each study setting. Methodological transparency supports the trustworthiness of the findings presented in subsequent chapters.
