Explainable AI and Machine Learning in Prediction of Housing Prices

Accurate housing price prediction poses a major challenge nowadays in the society. People keep moving to new places and try to find out new houses to live but end up in an uncertain position after finding various unclear prices as according to their standards. Even then accurate house price prediction remains a challenge, due to various factors that are affecting the real-estate sector. Our research provides a novel framework that combines the explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) and machine learning (ML) algorithms; this provides clear interpretation of each feature that affects the model. The method will clearly help the clients, stakeholders, and policy makers in accurately predicting housing prices.
