Processing and Characterizations of Ferrite Incorporated PVDF-HFP Composite Films for Energy Storage Applications
摘要
In the current work, we have investigated the enhancement of the dielectric constant of PVDF-HFP, poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene), by adding ferrite nanofillers in specific compositions. Ferrite nanofillers used in the current work are bismuth, cobalt and nickel ferrites which are found to be having better dielectric properties, but there is a discrete understanding about their compositional and processing influence for the dielectric characteristics. Hence, the current work reports synthesis of the composite film for 10 wt% aforementioned ferrite composition incorporated into PVDF-HFP copolymer to realize the dielectric constant behavior. The paper highlights the corroboration of microstructural, crystallographic and dielectric characteristics of the synthesized composite films.
