A Compact High Voltage DC Power Supply Design by High-Rate Lithium Batteries
摘要
The demand for mobile and portable applications is driving the development of compact and miniaturized pulsed power devices. To detach the pulsed power system from the ground power supply, a compact and lightweight modular high-voltage DC charging power supply technology solution is proposed in this paper. To meet the high voltage and high power input requirements of pulse power devices such as Marx generators, this power supply uses a group of single 3.2 V high-rate lithium batteries for DC power supply, and adopts a two-stage boost solution. Firstly, a 32 V low-voltage lithium battery pack is boosted to 400 V by a non-isolated DC converter, and then the voltage is increased to 50 kV through a phase-shifted full-bridge isolated DC-DC converter. This paper tests the discharge characteristics of single lithium batteries under different discharge rate conditions and explores the output capability of lithium batteries. The design scheme of high-voltage DC power supply is experimentally verified, and the results show that the single-module output voltage is 50 kV, and the output power is about 800W, which can meet the high-power input requirements by stacking multiple modules. This provides technical references for designing high-performance, compact, lightweight and environmentally adaptable high-power pulsed driving sources.
