摘要

The internal failure of the transformer tank may lead to increased pressure and further deformation and rupture of the tank. It is of great significance to study the stress characteristics of the mechanical structure of transformer tank. In this paper, the deformation of the transformer tank after the internal pressure rises is simulated and analyzed by using the fluid–structure coupling calculation method and the modified evaporation–condensation model, The findings indicate that gravity causes a larger shape variation at the bottom of the tank compared to the top. The stress level at the oil pillow remains consistently low. Stress concentrations occur at the connection points between the connecting pipe and the tank's top, and between the turret and the tank's side. Enhancing the mechanical strength of these areas can enhance the tank's overall explosion-proof capability. The simulation outcomes in this study serve as a reference for designing transformer tanks.
