Research on the Improved Installation of Pressure Relief Valves in Response to Internal Tank Pressure Increase
摘要
Oil-immersed transformers are crucial equipment in power transmission. The use of pressure relief valves in transformers is widespread as a response to the risk of tank rupture caused by a sharp rise in pressure. However, even with pressure relief valves equipped, transformer explosions occur from time to time, raising concerns about how to enhance the effectiveness of such valves in preventing explosions. The purpose of this research is to analyses pressure fluctuations inside a transformer tank by examining the installation method of pressure relief valves, using the finite element analysis and unidirectional fluid–solid interaction method. The installation method of pressure relief valves is crucial for ensuring the operational safety of transformers, and this study aims to provide relevant guidance in this regard.
