Study on SF6 Degradation Scheme and Products Based on Thermal Plasma

摘要

SF6 gas is widely used in the power industry, especially in switchgear, due to its unique insulation performance and arc extinguishing ability. However, due to the extremely strong greenhouse effect of SF6, its exhaust gas can cause significant harm to the environment. At present, SF6 gas emissions are mainly reduced through recycling and degradation. In the above methods, thermal plasma is suitable for large-scale centralized processing of SF6 due to its high power and easy control characteristics. In this work, a SF6 degradation platform was established using the method of thermal plasma degradation. Explored the effect of different carrier gas flow rates on the degradation rate and energy efficiency of SF6 in the SF6/H2/Ar reaction system. At the same time, changing the flow rate of H2 in the experiment and analyzing the product components under different conditions have certain guiding significance for the design of harmless treatment schemes for degradation products.
