A Design of Flexible Dielectric Barrier Discharge Device

摘要

Plasma is rich in active and charged particles and has been used in medical fields such as sterilization. The plasma generator based on the flexible volume dielectric barrier discharge (VDBD) has the advantages of being soft and thin and can be applied to wounds of different shapes. Currently, most research focuses on experiments and applications of flexible VDBD devices, and there are few quantitative studies on device structural parameters. To achieve quantification of structural parameters, this article first proposes a VDBD structure based on silicone, then obtains the relationship between the initial discharge voltage and structural parameters through the equivalent circuit model and electrostatic field simulation, and then discusses the range of the obtained parameters. Finally, a verification test was conducted, and the experimental results agreed with expectations. The results show that: (1) discharge first occurs from the hole's edge in the structure with holes punched in silicone. (2) The electric field strength calculated using the equivalent circuit model exhibits a minor deviation from the electric field strength obtained through simulation at the hole's edge.
