Design and Research of UAV Fire Emergency and Intelligent Inspection System in the Valve Hall of Converter Station

摘要

As the core of the entire converter station, the valve hall can only rely on traditional manual methods for daily inspection and lacks intelligent inspection methods. When the converter valve is running, the operation and inspection personnel cannot enter the valve hall in time, and a large number of power electronic components lack effective fire emergency measures. This paper aims to explore the feasibility of the application of UAV in the flexible valve hall, develop a multi-functional UAV system with fire emergency and intelligent inspection, and realize the emergency fire extinguishing and infrared detection and abnormal early warning of the core equipment in the valve hall. Relying on the Zhangbei flexible DC project, this paper has been demonstrated and applied in the Zhangbei converter station and will be gradually promoted and applied to the valve hall of the converter station of different voltage levels, so as to provide effective auxiliary means for on-site operation and inspection personnel and improve the operation safety of flexible straightening equipment.
