This chapter explores in a critical way the urbanized world. Cities have become the new battlegrounds characterized by the ubiquity of surveillance technological systems and insertion into a telematic topology. Everyday experiences, flows, and practices are mapped, governed, and reordered by the proliferation of digital and communication technologies that modify their space-time relationships. In this chapter, we intend to explore how urban planning and public policies, based on the ideas of Stephen Graham and Paul Virilio, could find fertile ground for rethinking and innovating their principles and concepts. Conscious approaches to such potentials allow actions of territorial ordering and preservation of the plurality of movements and productive capacities.
