International Rights and Protections of the Refugee Child
摘要
Refugees have long been the focus of international law. Despite this, existing legal and governmental frameworks related to the protection of child refugees appear to be failing. This may be ascertained by the prevalent high rates of forced child marriages, as seen among Syrian refugees in Jordan. This chapter focuses on the legal frameworks that exist for the protection of refugees, and how they might, or not, protect refugee children from being forced into marriage.
