Nanotechnology-Mediated Agriculture Water Management
摘要
Agriculture is the main backbone of society benefiting not only with feed, fiber, and fuel but also with opportunities like source of livelihood, contribution to national revenue, foreign exchange resources, employment chance, and significance to international trades. With the rise in global water condition mainly arising from increasing population growth and climatic changes, there is an urge of novel ingenious water technologies to secure a stable supply of drinking water and reducing global water pollution. With the advent of highly advanced nanotechnology, there have been various successful attempts of it in plant growth, plant protection, nanofertilizers, nanopesticides, waste water management, and water pollution, which have served as boon in the field of agriculture. This review covers the applications of nanotechnology in water management explored by researchers for the improvement and advancement in agriculture.
