Assessment and Development of Water Resources with Modern Technologies
摘要
The primary users of water are domestic and industrial consumption, as well as the environment. Previous decades have seen a surge in rapid urbanisation, industrialisation, geometric development of population growth, shift in agricultural pattern, and non-implementation of necessary practices at river basin level, all of which have been linked to insufficient freshwater supplies. In additional to the water required for industrial operations and the expanding economy, agricultural water use is an important factor in India. To ensure appropriate water resources allocation, the best supply of water from the resources that are available must be analysed for various applications. Along with the standard methods for quantifying water resources, more accurate mapping and quantification technologies have to be used. Problems with wastewater recycling, water distribution, rainfall collection, and irrigation management have all been helped by the use of numerous Artificial Intelligence (AI) models. With the existing availability of water resources in mind, we have covered a variety of approaches for water resource evaluation and development in this chapter. Planning, building, and operating water resource reservoirs in a variety of climatic circumstances would benefit greatly from the explanation.
