Research on Service Priority-Based Handover Method
摘要
In the 5G era, network slicing offers customized and dedicated network services, which enable independent and isolated operations for different businesses, making it a pivotal aspect for the diverse range of services. During the mobility of slice users, cell handovers are unavoidable. However, relying solely on channel quality and the number of slices in the target cell as criteria could potentially result in users being switched to target cells that cannot support the ongoing critical slice services, and this will significantly impact user perception. To address above mentioned challenges, this paper proposes a novel handover method based on the priority of slice services. The proposed method can guarantee that the perception of important and necessary slicing services is prioritized. Meanwhile, the proposed method can also maximize the user perception of handover in a scenario of concurrent multiple slices. By employing this handover method, service perception and user experience can be effectively enhanced during slice user mobility.
