Multi-domain Data Sliding Window Based Voice Service Monitoring System for 4G/5G Networks

With the vigorous development of 5G network and the gradual withdrawal of 2G network, the current voice service research focuses on VoLTE (Voice over Long-Term Evolution), EPS FB (Evolved Packet System Fallback) and VoNR (Voice over New Radio). The coexistence of multiple voice schemes leads to complex network formats and frequent switching between networks. Therefore, the difficulty and demand of voice service network optimization have increased. Screening cells with poor voice service’s quality is one of the most effective means for network optimization. In this paper, a voice service monitoring system for 4G/5G networks is designed to monitor and screen cells with poor voice service’s quality. Through the verification of existing network data for 5 consecutive days in city X, the system can accurately screen out key cells with poor voice service’s quality, which indicates that the system is practical.
