On Orbit Applications of RGNSS in Ultra Close Range
摘要
With the establishment of the Beidou Navigation System in China, RGNSS becomes an ideal relative measurement device for space rendezvous and docking missions. In theory, it can meet the relative measurement needs of most cooperative types of space rendezvous and docking missions under full range conditions. Especially for the applications of micro-satellites, RGNSS has a great help in addressing resource constraints such as weight and size. However, due to the significant impact of external factors on data stability, the use of RGNSS in close range conditions has become a challenge in system design. Based on summarizing the principle of RGNSS carrier phase difference and carrier phase ambiguity error, this article proposes a system level RGNSS usage strategy that can eliminate the impact of RGNSS integer ambiguity errors on spacecraft navigation stability and achieve the goal of using RGNSS at close range conditions.
