摘要

During a disaster, the communication infrastructure (e.g., radio systems and towers) is destroyed, and hence the initial rescuers need to work with highly constrained communication infrastructure at the disaster site. That necessitates the use of mechanisms and processes to conserve the limited communication resources (e.g., bandwidth and speed). Priority Over Cloudlet Terminal (POCkET) Framework is a mobile cloud computing architecture that aims to improve performance by prioritizing critical tasks during disaster response on cloudlets. To support this architecture, a Generic Information Model (GIMo) has been developed. GIMo is a flexible, extensible, and vendor-neutral information model that enables the integration of heterogeneous components in the POCkET Framework. GIMo provides a standard way of representing and exchanging information between different components of the POCkET architecture, such as mobile devices, cloudlets, and cloud servers. It defines a set of generic information entities and relationships that allow the components to communicate effectively and efficiently.
