Analysis of Voltage and Frequency Control of Microgrid Systems with Load Demand Response

摘要

Distributed generation (DG) nowadays is increasing and gaining popularity in many countries. This is because there are many problems with power system which power supply cannot be matched the power used of customer. Then, combination of distribution generation (DG) and power electronic system will produce the concept of future network technologies. The aim of this project is to analyze voltage and frequency control of microgrid system with load demand response. The operation of microgrid is comprised of photovoltaic (PV), fuel cell, and battery storage. The design and simulation for distribution generation are performed in MATLAB Simulink software. The simulation will be proceeding in three operational modes which is grid-connected system, grid-disconnected with PV generation, and grid-disconnected without PV generation. Then, voltage and frequency will be analyzed with load demand.
