Application of Spatiotemporal Algorithms in Landscape Spatial Utilization

In order to understand the application of spatiotemporal algorithms in landscape space utilization, the author proposes an application research based on spatiotemporal algorithms in landscape space utilization. The author first analyzed that the utilization rate of university campus landscape is an important indicator for landscape design and renovation improvement. Using the Rhinoceros + Grasshopper software platform, with usage time as the main indicator, a parameterized analysis paradigm of “land properties—time weight—visualization of landscape space utilization rate—landscape space analysis” was proposed. Based on mathematical logic algorithms, a promotion application model was established. Finally, taking the utilization rate of the landscape space of a university campus established in a certain city as the analysis object, the university is located in Xiqing District of a certain city, with a total area of about 62.02 hm2. The overall shape of the campus is a long rectangle, with an east–west width of 635 m and a north–south length of 1560 m, and the overall layout is relatively neat. The experimental results show that the parameterization method based on spatiotemporal algorithms combines time and space to quantitatively analyze the campus user population and available space, and can obtain more accurate spatial utilization. Combined with visual display, the analysis results can be clear and intuitive, providing scientific basis for campus landscape design and landscape transformation and improvement. In order to provide scientific basis for the planning of university campus landscape space, and also provide reference for the parameterized design of other landscape garden landscape spaces.
