Application of Augmented Reality Technology in Packaging Design

In order to achieve automation in product color matching design, the author proposes a method based on augmented reality technology combined with BP neural network. Based on Kansei engineering theory and using neural networks as the key technology to study product color matching, first determine the perceptual vocabulary and color design elements of product color, and then, use BP neural network combined with augmented reality technology model to establish the relationship between color coding and perceptual image evaluation value. Finally, combine the example of soybean milk machine, set the relevant parameters of the input layer, output layer, and hidden layer in the BP model to carry out the experimental simulation of perceptual image design of color matching of soybean milk machine. 1–5 are subjective evaluation data and network measurement data (normalized) for images 36th to 40th. The experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of using BP neural network combined with augmented reality technology to establish a correlation model between product perceptual imagery and product color matching. The effectiveness of the application of BP neural network combined with augmented reality technology in product color matching design was verified through testing. This indicates the relationship between product emotional imagery and product color matching and demonstrates the feasibility of using BP neural network combined with augmented reality technology to establish a product color matching auxiliary design system.
