Design and Application of a Teaching System for Mental Health Nursing Courses Based on Web Technology

To understand the design and application of the teaching system for mental health nursing courses, the author proposes a web-based design and application research of the teaching system for mental health nursing courses. Firstly, through literature research, the author analyzed and investigated the learning needs of the application objects of the “Psychiatric Nursing” thematic learning website, and designed the content and module of the teaching resources of the “Psychiatric Nursing” thematic learning website. After the website is completed and runs stably, invite psychiatrists and educational technology experts as research subjects to evaluate the development effectiveness of the website. Secondly, the special learning website of Psychiatric Nursing was applied in the teaching of nursing specialty. 120 nursing undergraduate students of 2021 level in a city university were selected as the research objects by convenient sampling method, and the method of classroom teaching and students’ landing on the special learning website after class was adopted for research. After the lecture, the application effect of the thematic learning website was evaluated by questionnaire and semi-structured interview. The survey questionnaire includes a questionnaire on students’ attitudes toward learning through the website and their level of recognition toward the website, a questionnaire on website usage, and a questionnaire on website learning environment and learning functions. The research results show that 80% of students are willing to use the online resources of “Psychiatric Nursing” for learning, and the website is stable in operation, highly technical, rich in resources, updated in a timely manner, with a simple and beautiful interface, achieving the expected goals. This fully demonstrates that the specialized learning website for Psychiatric Nursing has achieved good application results in teaching practice.
