Basketball Technical Feature Target Detection System Based on Artificial Intelligence

Basketball is a relatively popular sports event. Its movements are flexible. The ball changes are diverse, and it has strong ornamental value, so it is deeply loved by sports enthusiasts. In basketball, the level of shooting skills of athletes is one of the important factors affecting athletic performance. Due to the low detection efficiency of traditional detection methods for basketball technology, in order to solve this problem, this article analyzed the application of artificial intelligence methods in basketball technology feature object detection systems. Through the analysis and research of basketball sports videos, this article analyzed a combination algorithm of inter-frame difference method and background subtraction and designed a basketball sports technology feature object detection system based on artificial intelligence. This system could identify the shooting techniques of athletes in videos by identifying their shooting movements. The test results indicated that the system could accurately detect shooting actions in basketball sports videos. After using artificial intelligence technology, the average detection rate of basketball technical feature targets increased by 3%. Experiments showed that in some cases, this system could achieve real-time detection of basketball technical feature targets.
