To be successful in the marketplace entrepreneurship should be planned in terms of timelines, resource requirements and future needs. Planning is an essential part of any kind of entrepreneurial activity as it enables a step-by-step progress report to be made that enables changes to be implemented. In this chapter, the role of entrepreneurial business planning in society is discussed that includes a focus on entrepreneurial opportunities.
