Advanced Frame Structures in Cognitive Radio Networks Based on Learnheuristic Algorithm

Cognitive radio (CR) is an auspicious technique that can help to address growing demand for spectrum in six-generation communication devices. CR uses concept of opportunistic spectrum access, where unlicensed users or cognitive users (CUs) can opportunistically access spectrum that is not being used by licensed users or primary users (PUs). So, here suggests a novel hybrid spectrum access (HSA) technique based on metaheuristic with machine learning. The proposed technique exploits the advantages of both interweave and underlay spectrum access strategies and uses a machine learning-based metaheuristic algorithm to increase working of system. Proposed technique is evaluated using a variety of metrics, including throughput, data loss, and sensing time. Results describe that suggested technique can significantly increase performance of CR systems compared with conventional techniques.
