Toward Distributed Security Based Healthcare System

Healthcare technology has introduced a new era of possibilities and improved patient care. The benefits, however, come with additional constraints. Security and costly data storage stand out among many difficulties. The vulnerability of sensitive data to cyberthreats has increased as medical systems are connected and patient records are converted to digital format. In this revolutionary era of medicine, establishing a balance between the advantages of healthcare technology and the crucial problems of data protection and preservation has become mandatory. Blockchain technology has enormous potential to revolutionize health care by improving data security, interoperability, and transparency. However, the continuous issue of high transaction costs, particularly on established platforms such as Ethereum, prevents its widespread use in health care. This paper investigates affordable methods to reduce transaction costs when adding blocks to a blockchain system in the healthcare framework, concentrating on blockchain’s potential to speed up necessary procedures, including medical record maintenance and secure data transmission. The proposed model has demonstrated the capability of a cost-effective blockchain network to reduce expenses associated with maintaining healthcare data while satisfying the essential standards of data confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility.
