The Prediction of Diabetes Using Machine Learning in the Healthcare System

Diabetes has been increasing at an exponential rate in India in recent years, and it is expected to reach 537 million by 2030. Diabetes will also cause a large rise in a variety of other health issues. Many machine learning techniques are being employed to solve the problem of diabetes prediction. In this paper, the authors have considered two machine learning techniques, such as support vector machine (SVM) and logistic regression (LR) for diabetes prediction. The SVM accuracy was found to be 87% when eight independent parameters were used to predict it, whereas the logistic regression accuracy was 87.01%.
