Tropical Biomass for Sunscreen Agent

摘要

Extensive exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation harms human skin. To avoid and reduce the harmful effects of UV radiation, it is suggested to keep away from sun exposure or wear clothes, accessories, or sunscreens. Sunscreens are a standard prevention method to guard against skin damage caused by damaging UV radiation. It can be shielded from the sun by absorbing UV radiation and minimizing exposure to UV radiation. Therefore, sunscreens are accessible commercially to shield the skin from damaging UV rays. The agent of sun protection derived from natural ingredients poses minimal side effects. Several new plant-based products that produce less skin irritation have recently been introduced. These bioactive compounds are frequently derived from natural biomass. As a result, it is critical to discover effective sunscreen ingredients with ecologically friendly properties, such as natural polyphenols, tannin, and lignin. This chapter will discuss phenol-, tannin-, and lignin-based sunscreens.
