From Behavioral Economics to Behavioral Science: A Message from the “New Humans” to the “Modern Humans”

The goal of behavioral economicsBehavioral economics has been achieved to some extent. Behavioral economics has essentially transformed into behavioral science. However, have the various concepts developed in mainstream economics are useless for “modern humans?” My answer is “No.” The vitality for behavioral economicsBehavioral economics relies on the facts that have been embodied mainstream economics. Some readers may feel that I advocate a return to traditional economics. What I intended to argue differed. I have aimed to show the conditions for the further development of behavioral economics and empirical economicsEmpirical economics. This chapter is a message from me as a “new human” to “modern people.”
