Algorithm for Calculating Aerodynamic Characteristics Based on Solving Inverse Dynamics Problems

In the presented work, a mathematical model of the motion of an axisymmetric body along a ballistic track is constructed, the structure of aerodynamic characteristics is selected and justified, taking into account the features of ballistic experiments. The mathematical formulation of the problem is carried out and the basic calculation relations are obtained. The problem of determining the aerodynamic characteristics of an axisymmetric body is interpreted as an inverse problem of dynamics. A deterministic approach to solving the problem is considered. The whole solution process is divided into computationally independent stages. The errors were analyzed, the system of coordinate functions, the grid step of the initial data, and the regularization parameter were selected to solve the problem of approximation and differentiation of the experimental function. The values of the aerodynamic coefficients of an axisymmetric body are obtained according to the data of an aeroballistic experiment conducted at the Ioffe Institute.1
