Interaction of a Circular Bush and a Layered Pipe Fitted on a Shaft

The present work is devoted to the formulation and obtaining of an analytical solution for the problem of contact stresses determination in the area of interaction between a circular cylindrical rigid bush and a layered by longitudinally inhomogeneous thin outer coating viscoelastic aging tube fitted on a rigid circular cylindrical shaft. The special method used in this work allows us to construct an analytical solution in the form in which the function describing the longitudinal inhomogeneity of the coating is allocated by a separate multiplier. This allows calculations to be made even when the coating inhomogeneity is described by both rapidly changing and discontinuous functions. Other known approaches make it possible to perform calculations only for homogeneous coatings, or for coatings whose heterogeneity varies slightly.
