Mathematical Model of Shock-Induced Chemical Reactions
摘要
A macroscopic mathematical model of shock-induced chemical reactions in reactive powders (Al/S) has been developed. The model includes the elastic-plastic deformation of materials, heating due to deformation and chemical reactions, diffusion of components, and heat transfer. Diffusion of chemical components and heat conductivity are described by Fick’s law. Heat release is caused by two factors: the plastic deformation of materials and the thermal effect of the reaction. The results are presented as computed configurations of the model powder volume placed between the projectile and the anvil under shock-wave loading. Test calculations have demonstrated the necessity for more accurate determination of chemical reaction criteria and reaction rate constants.
