摘要

Harmonic filtering and reactive power compensation are two areas that are of the most concern in an electrical system today. There are many methods to eliminate harmonic components and compensate reactive power, of which Hybrid Active Power Filter (HAPF) is considered the most effective solution. The HAPF structure is a combination of an active power filter and passive filter circuits. The objective of this paper is to analyze the operating principle of HAPF and develop a mathematical model for HAPF. Based on the mathematical model, control strategies for HAPF have been proposed, including control strategies based on the source harmonic current, load harmonic voltage and both source harmonic current and load harmonic voltage. Mathematical models and simulation results on PSIM software have demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed control strategies. The results of this study can be used as a basis for choosing a suitable control strategy for HAPF in the future.
