Short Packet Communication for Dual-Hop System Under Co-Channel Interference

In this paper, we consider short packet communication (SPC) for a dual hop where a relay supports a source and a destination to communicate with each other under co-channel interference at the relay. The average block error rate (BLER) of the destination is obtained in closed-form expression. We also evaluate the system based on the impact of parameters such as total transmit power, transmit power of the interferer. The analytical expressions are verified by simulation results.
