摘要

The importance of monitoring the health status of family members, particularly the elderly, is a matter that requires increased attention. Unfortunately, many families dedicate minimal time to this crucial task, resulting in infrequent health assessments for both themselves and their loved ones. As a result, when health issues eventually surface, they are often caught unprepared and must turn to hospitals or clinics for assistance. This inconvenience can be particularly perilous for elderly individuals, who may be hesitant to exert themselves or burden their caregivers. Moreover, with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the monitoring of vital health metrics such as SPO2 levels, heart rate, and body temperature has become more critical than ever before. In response to this urgent need, we propose the development of a device designed to monitor these health metrics and facilitate communication between medical professionals and the individuals under their care. Our product consists of a measuring device, an Android application for device users, and a separate Android application for healthcare providers to monitor multiple registered users. The device operates with utmost reliability and has the capability to continuously monitor key indicators such as blood oxygen levels, heart rate, and body temperature. It can promptly send alerts to mobile apps and notifications to connected devices whenever these metrics surpass acceptable thresholds.
