Performance Evaluation of Two-Way Relaying Network Using Nonlinear Energy-Harvesting and SIC Techniques

摘要

In this paper, we investigate a two-way relay network involving two sources and a decode-and-forward relay equipped with a non-linear energy harvester. In the proposed scheme, the relay utilizes the power splitting technique for energy harvesting, the successive interference cancellation (SIC) technique for signal decoding, and the digital network coding (DNC) technique for signal re-encoding during information transmission. Using SIC and DNC techniques leads to reducing the number of timeslots for information transmission. Next, the exact expressions of the outage probabilities and system throughput are analyzed to evaluate the system performance over Rayleigh fading channels. Furthermore, we compare the system performance with a scheme that does not employ the SIC technique. Finally, we validate the accuracy of our analytical expressions through Monte Carlo simulations.
