Viability Evaluation of an in-House Digital Twin Robotic Arm
摘要
As the demand for flexible and intelligent automation has been increasing in the past few years, collaborative robotic arms have gained significant attention due to their ability to work alongside human operators. As with any other robotic solutions applied among industries, precision and accuracy in delivering tasks are of the utmost interest to any organization in order to ensure smooth collaboration between robots and operators. However, ensuring these factors to be optimal has always been a challenge for solutions developers. Responding to this challenge, the team has developed and conducted an evaluation of an in-house digital twin. The digital model replicates a physical robotic arm system in a virtual Unity environment, in which real-time data from sensors and actuators will be integrated, enabling advanced monitoring, analysis, and optimization of the robot system. In this research, the focus will stay on evaluating the viability of this model in the created Unity environment.
