摘要

The fluidized bed drying is one of the rated modern drying technologies. The material is solid particles with a recommended size of less than 2 mm. When drying, the solid particles is fluidizeded in a flowing gas, also known as fluidization. The article presents the heat transfer between hot air and solid particles. The authors have employed equations describing heat transfer within the fluidization particles from existing publications for application in calculating heat transfer during refined salt particles drying. The research have determined the variable convective heat transfer coefficient ranging from 17.5–108.3 W/m2·K. The distance (Y) for the gas agent stream to blow and pass through the drying particle layer for heat transfer into the particle layer to achieve a 50% temperature difference between the gas entering and leaving the particle layer has a value ranging from 3.03 × 10−6 m to 9.5 × 10−6 m.
