  • Zhenghong Xiao

摘要

Agricultural production is constrained by many factors. It includes both natural circumstances and socio-economic and cultural circumstances, while socio-economic and cultural circumstances not only serve as external conditions but also as inherent variables in many cases. They played significant roles in the formation and selection of regional types of agricultural technology in West China during the Qing Dynasty. To compare with those of East China, the socio-economic and cultural factors in West China, including population, family economic planning, agricultural resource property, agricultural management and production organization, transportation and marketing, national policy, religion, and cultural customs, showed very unique features.
