Agro-technological Geographical Features of Loess Plateau During the Qing Dynasty
摘要
The Loess Plateau includes the area south to the northern Qinling Mountains, west to the Taihang Mountains (太行山), south to the Great Wall (长城) and east to the Qinghai Lake (青海湖). This book mainly discusses West China, so the part under the administration of the central province Shanxi (山西) is excluded. This book focuses on Guanzhong, the northeastern Qinghai and the southern Ningxia, covering an area of about 302,100 km2 and accounting for 5.4% of West China. During the Qing Dynasty, this area belonged to Shaanxi and Gansu (甘肃) provinces administratively.
