A Framework for Enabling Artificial Intelligence Inference for the Hardware Acceleration of IVIS Imaging System

Machine Vision Cameras are an essential component in the chain of industrial image processing to optimize and automatically monitor manufacturing processes. The Industrial Vision Sensor (IVIS) was developed by C-DAC, Thiruvananthapuram, which must be equipped with the proper artificial intelligence-based approaches in order to serve the next-generation industrial vision applications. In this paper, we present an ideal framework for existing IVIS imaging systems to produce artificial intelligence-based inferences that will meet requirements like throughput, latency, power, and better processing capability.
