摘要

The fauna of the family Acanthosomatidae Signoret, 1864 in the Middle East comprises six species and subspecies in four genera, Acanthosoma Curtis, 1824, Cyphostethus Fieber, 1860, Elasmostethus Fieber, 1860, and Elasmucha Stål, 1864. Also, five species in four genera have been recorded from Iran thus far.
