摘要

The fauna of the family Geocoridae Baerensprung, 1860 in the Middle East includes 59 species in six genera, Bledionotus Reuter, 1878, Geocoris Fallén, 1814, Mallocoris Stål, 1872, Stenophtalmicus A. Costa, 1875, Engistus Fieber, 1864, and Henestaris Spinola, 1837. Also, Iranian Geocoridae comprises 34 species in five genera, of which, Geocoris with 27 recorded species is more diverse than the other genera. Additionally, the fauna of Iran is the most diverse among the Middle Eastern countries.
