The fauna of the family Tingidae Laporte de Castelnau, 1833 in the Middle East comprises 165 species and subspecies in 32 genera. This family has been recorded from 14 countries of the Middle East so far: Iran (92 species and subspecies in 21 genera), Turkey (81 species), Israel (42 species), Iraq (38 species), Saudi Arabia (29 species), Yemen (32 species), Jordan and Syria (27 species), Egypt (25 species), Cyprus (24 species), Lebanon (16 species), United Arab Emirates (14 species), Kuwait (three species), and Oman (one species).
