摘要

The fauna of the family Microphysidae Dohrn, 1859 in the Middle East comprises six species within the genus Loricula Curtis, 1833. Iranian Microphysidae includes three species, two of them, Loricula (Loricula) bipunctata (Perris, 1857) and Loricula (Myrmedobia) exilis (Fallén, 1807), are new records for the country. The fauna of Iran and Israel is the most diverse among the Middle Eastern countries.
