摘要

The fauna of the family Reduviidae Latreille, 1807 in the Middle East includes 279 species and subspecies in 45 genera. Iranian Reduviidae comprises 122 species and subspecies in 28 genera, of which Oncocephalus Klug, 1830 and Reduvius Fabricius, 1775 with 19 and 17 species, respectively, are more diverse than the other genera. Additionally, the fauna of Iran is the most diverse among the Middle Eastern countries.
