摘要

The fauna of the family Oxycarenidae Stål, 1862 in the Middle East includes 38 species in 12 genera. Also, Iranian Oxycarenidae comprises 23 species in 10 genera, which is the most diverse among the Middle Eastern countries. In addition to Iran, this family has been recorded from 12 other countries of the Middle East: Israel, Turkey (17 species), Cyprus, Egypt, Iraq, Syria (11 species), Jordan (10 species), Yemen (eight species), Saudi Arabia (seven species), Lebanon, United Arab Emirates (five species), and Kuwait (two species).
