摘要

The fauna of the family Leptopodidae Brullé, 1836 in the Middle East comprises nine species within five genera, Erianotus Fieber, 1860, Lahima Linnavuori and van Harten, 2002, Leptopus Latreille, 1809, Patapius Horváth, 1912, and Valleriola Distant, 1904. This family has been recorded from 10 countries of the Middle East thus far: Iran (eight species), Israel (five species), Turkey (four species), Cyprus, Egypt, Syria (each with three species), Iraq, United Arab Emirates (each with two species), and Lebanon, Yemen (each with one species).
