摘要

The fauna of the family Notonectidae Latreille, 1802 in the Middle East comprises 20 species in three genera, Anisops Spinola, 1837, Enithares Spinola, 1837, and Notonecta Linnaeus, 1758. Iranian Notonectidae includes nine species in three genera. Additionally, the fauna of Yemen with 11 recorded species is more diverse than the fauna in the other countries of the Middle East.
