摘要

The fauna of the family Aphelocheiridae Fieber, 1851 in the Middle East comprises two species, Aphelocheirus (Aphelocheirus) aestivalis (Fabricius, 1794) and Aphelocheirus (Aphelocheirus) kolenatii Kiritshenko, 1925; the latter has been recorded from Iran. In addition to Iran, this family has been recorded from Turkey (two species) and Iraq (one species).
